Aimee founded Fagan Business Communications in 1984 to provide results-oriented communications counsel to companies in the high-tech, financial services and resort/recreation/tourism industries. She works intensively with clients to develop targeted company and product positioning and messaging, and then implement strategic corporate communications and public relations programs to meet client objectives.

In the news media relations area, Aimee consistently produces results on a regional, national, and international level, based on solid research, exceptional news judgment, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. She has worked extensively in more than 50 media markets.

Prior to starting Fagan Business Communications, Aimee managed the marketing communications program for a Colorado-based software development firm, served as a systems consultant for Arthur Andersen & Company, and worked as a senior manufacturing planner for Digital Equipment Corporation. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Minnesota.

Aimee holds the APR (Accredited in Public Relations) accreditation from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). She has served as a national assembly delegate and as a member of the board of directors for the Colorado chapter of PRSA.

Susanna DonatoSusanna Donato

Susanna brings nearly 20 years of experience in research, writing and editing to the group. She is a specialist in building a brand through creative, cohesive and consistent messaging, developing strategic communications that speak to diverse audiences. Integrating traditional communications with creative use of social media, Susanna consistently puts into place cohesive tactics that meet clients’ goals on budget.

Before beginning her independent practice, Susanna was a public relations associate at JohnstonWells Public Relations in Denver, and the marketing coordinator for The French Culinary Institute in New York. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado and sits on the Board of Trustees of the Logan School for Creative Learning.


Mike DonnellMike Donnell

With more than 35 years of public relations experience, Mike remains one of the most successful, experienced, hands-on professionals in the country. He is a media relations specialist who employs a results-oriented, fundamental approach to media relations.

Mike’s experience includes nearly 20 years with Ruder Finn, Inc., and Edelman Public Relations, holding senior vice president positions, and a Bachelor of Science degree in communications from Northwestern University. Working with clients ranging from sole business owners to multi-billion dollar corporations, he has honed a detailed, targeted approach to media relations that is based on timely, relevant content and strong news stories that bring tangible value to clients.

His media relations work includes interviews, bylined stories, case histories and round-up articles in a media mix of mass-market publications, trade and professional journals, radio, television, e-zines and Web media sites – all designed to convey the client’s message to influential audiences.

Jeri PushkinJeri Pushkin

Jeri, a graduate of the Art Institute of Colorado, has nearly 20 years of experience in graphic design. She specializes in developing organizational identities and collateral materials, helping businesses create brand awareness on limited budgets.

Whether choosing the right paper, making two colors seem like four, or incorporating designs that can serve multiple functions, she helps her clients create cost-effective, eye-catching, memorable campaigns that tug at heart strings – not purse strings.

Jeri has worked with a wide range of private, public and non-profit clients. She also has worked for Cies Sexton, Denver’s leading multi-media production company, where she assisted in the development of the firm’s computer graphics department. Her work has been recognized with awards from the Public Relations Society of America and Jewish Family Service.

Leticia SteffenLeticia Steffen

Leticia is a public relations and marketing communications specialist with expertise in writing, editing, message development and strategic planning. She is a top-level researcher whose efficient, thorough work provides the superior foundation for news media relations, community relations and customer communications programs.

Leticia is an associate professor of mass communications at Colorado State University-Pueblo. She has worked as a news media specialist and publications editor at the University of Denver and Metropolitan State College (Denver). Leticia was the news/features editor for InfoBeat News Service, one of the first Internet news services, and has served as a correspondent for St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

She holds a Master or Arts degree in mass communications/journalism studies from the University of Denver, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Louis University.
